Ernest Hooper was a reporter and columnist for the Tampa Bay Times for 27 years, he now sits at the communications helm for the American Cancer Society. “Hoop” is a name that still resonates as a staple in Tampa Bay, covering everything from food festivals to sports and everything in between. A master storyteller, Ernest captures the hearts and imaginations of his readers and listeners, and both Feeding Tampa Bay and Trinity Café have had the privilege to have him alongside us in our mission to fight hunger and address our neighbors with dignity and respect.
